Limpley Stoke resident, Christopher Roche shares stories from the five years he spent photographing ancient faith traditions around the world; his experiences of the people, cultures, and rituals he witnessed as well as the many adventures and misadventures he encountered along the way.
Journeying across the Himalayas and Andes, Tibet, Ethiopia, Kurdistan, the North Caucasus and Varanasi, his images reveal private moments of prayer and meditation alongside monumental scenes of pilgrimage and celebration.
Christopher has won many awards internationally and his photographs have been published in international journals, and exhibited at the Royal Geographical Society in London and the United Nations Office at Geneva.
