Jeff Rozelaar is a semi-retired teacher and professional speaker on land and cruize ships.
This talk is based on an autographical account of his boyhood in the East End of London from the late 1940s to 1963. Fern Britton read the manuscript of his book and described it as “A hugely entertaining book … a great sudsy wallow in the 1950s.” It features a host of colourful characters and attempts to convey a liking of London and love of history. The delivery is lively and entertaining, containing a mixture of Cockney and Jewish humour.
